Marvin’s Plans
For a More Affordable, Accessible, + Accountable Boston
Let’s Make Boston the Most Affordable Major City in America
Boston should be a city you can afford to live in — not one you’re forced to leave.
I’ll fight to stabilize rents, strengthen tenant protections, and expand community land trusts so families can stay in the neighborhoods they love. I’ll take on corporate developers through fair taxation and invest in grocery access zones and year-round meal programs so every Bostonian can access fresh, affordable food. I’ll also support small businesses with grants, resources, and technical assistance to help local entrepreneurs grow and create good jobs in every neighborhood.
A world-class city needs a world-class transit system.
I’ll work to make public transportation fast, reliable, and affordable so everyone — from students to seniors — can get where they need to go safely and efficiently. That means investing in bus and subway infrastructure, prioritizing accessibility for people with disabilities, and ensuring every neighborhood is connected. Transit should be the great equalizer in Boston, not a barrier.
Reliable, Affordable Transit That Works for Everyone
Making Boston Public Schools the Best in America
Boston’s children deserve the best public schools in the country.
I’ll strengthen support for our teachers, expand universal Pre-K, and make childcare affordable for working families. I believe every student should graduate ready for real opportunities — through expanded vocational training, stronger partnerships with local universities, and high schools that are safe, inclusive, and future-focused. Investing in our kids is investing in Boston’s future.
Care and Dignity for Every Bostonian
A great city takes care of its people — at every stage of life.
I’ll fight for programs that help elders age in place, expand mental health services, and ensure veterans get the benefits and support they’ve earned. I’ll also work to make Boston a place where people with disabilities can access every part of city life with dignity. A city that cares for its people isn’t just stronger — it’s more human.
